Are your facials customized?

Do you use licensed massage therapists at Orska Spa?

Yes. All massage services at Orska Spa are performed by licensed massage therapists (LMTs) who meet Texas state licensing requirements. Every massage therapist on our team is professionally trained, vetted, and selected for both technical skill and quality of care.
 
As a boutique day spa in Frisco, TX, we hold ourselves to high professional and ethical standards. Our massage therapy services are therapeutic, intentional, and focused on client safety, comfort, and results. We do not offer unlicensed or informal massage services, and every treatment is delivered in a professional spa setting.

What is the cosmetology crossover program?

Our cosmetology crossover program is designed for licensed cosmetologists who want advanced training in professional facial treatments. This program helps cosmetologists confidently and professionally perform advanced facials beyond basic skincare services.
 
Training programs are separate from spa services and are offered in a dedicated educational setting.  

Who created Orska Spa?

Orska Spa was created by Sandy Nelles, a spa innovator and successful entrepreneur with 17 years of experience in skincare and wellness. She has founded multiple skincare product brands as well as facial spa franchises. Her vision shapes every aspect of the spa - from treatment philosophy to provider selection - ensuring a consistently elevated experience.

Do I need a consultation before booking a facial or massage?

No separate consultation is required. Every facial, massage, body treatment, and Reiki session at Orska Spa includes a professional consultation at the start of your visit. This allows us to customize your treatment based on your skin concerns, body needs, and wellness goals. We also offer an in-depth consultation as a stand along service to review in detail your current skin regimen and product usage, and determine the best path forward to improve your skin. 

Is Orska Spa suitable for first-time facial clients?

Yes. Orska Spa is an excellent choice for first-time facial clients looking for facials in Frisco, TX. Our licensed estheticians take time to explain each step of the facial, answer questions, and tailor the treatment to your comfort level and skin needs.

Do I take my clothes off for a facial?​
​
No, definitely keep your clothes on. A facial is different than a full body massage. However, it is a good idea to wear a loose fitting top to allow the esthetician better access to your neck and shoulders for the massage portion of your facial.

Are your estheticians and massage providers licensed?

Yes. All facials and skincare treatments at Orska Spa are performed by licensed estheticians who meet Texas state licensing requirements. Our providers are experienced professionals selected for advanced training, technique, and alignment with our treatment philosophy. Be aware that not all spa's that advertise "Facials" or "Massage" use licensed service providers. We do because it's a better experience for our clients plus it's just the right thing to do.

How is Orska Spa different from a strip-mall facial studio?

Orska Spa is a boutique day spa, not a high-volume facial studio. Our spa is intentionally designed to be calm, private, and unrushed, offering a quieter alternative to busy strip-mall locations. Each treatment is personalized, professionally delivered, and focused on quality rather than speed.  Sandy Nelles has founded and franchised facial spa's in the past, however she is going for a different approach that is more intentional and less cookie cutter.

Do you offer relaxation-focused services or results-driven treatments?

We offer both. Orska Spa combines results-driven facials and therapeutic massage with a restorative, calming experience. Treatments are designed to improve skin health and physical well-being while also providing meaningful relaxation and stress relief.

How long are your spa treatments?

Treatment lengths vary depending on the service. Facials, massage, body treatments, and Reiki sessions are designed to allow adequate time for customization, care, and relaxation. We do not rush appointments or overbook, ensuring a focused and high-quality spa experience.

Is Orska Spa a good choice for regular skincare maintenance?

Yes. Many clients visit Orska Spa for ongoing facial treatments and massage therapy as part of their wellness and skincare routine. Our approach supports long-term skin health, consistency, and personalized care rather than one-time treatments.
